The CLR cable laying robot designed and manufactured by JT-elektronik GmbH, Germany, is suitable for all pipe materials. A special drilling tool is cutting a hole with a diameter of 6 mm and a depth of 15 mm into the pipe wall. Afterwards the anchor will be lifted and stuck into the drill hole and the cable will be simultaneously fixed in the top of the sewer pipe. With a special designed welding tool the anchors and the cable can also be fixed in polyethylene materials.
